Spain is known for so many wonderful things- beautiful architecture, rich history...and tapas, yummy, yummy tapas.

But aside from the food, the wine, and the siestas, I was obsessed with all of the gorgeous courtyards that are a staple to many Spanish homes.

One of the most beautiful courtyards I saw was inside the Alhambra in Grenada, Spain. 

With marble columns, alabaster basins, and gold painted EVERYTHING, I couldn't help but imagine what life must have been like for the royalty who had once lived there.
